In the box below is a message that I received from Peggy today in which she made more vague accusations. I responded by asking her what I was lying about. And as is typical, her response was to ignore the issue.

i simply do not understand why you lied to me at the beginning
and kept it up for so long, and then repeated it for another
go-round.

Even the simplest person understands that lying is wrong,
at least to an innocent like me.

You knew my emotional state was not strong after all the
physical and mental and emotional battering I received from
the bad guys.

Put your response in an e-mail message rather than making another crazy phone call. As you try to write down what I was lying about, you will discover that you have no idea. You won't be able to write anything.

Eric, I am telling you this because what you did was very cruel. Perhaps it
was not meant to be so on your part, but that is hard to believe. Since you 
seem not to know to what I refer, I will not press the issue. I will not betray
you. It is not in me, Eric. I may be a fool, but I will not betray you and go
against my word.

To hear you say you cannot remember what you said,
or to hear you say that you said no such thing, hurts me so deeply that I
cannot bear it. Your brilliant mind and high moral character do not jibe with
your behavior toward me spoken of here.
