quotes are real, and who said them?
1) On why Building 7 of the World Trade Center collapsed I remember getting a call from the fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were going to be able to contain the fire in Building 7, and I said, "You know, we've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it." And they made that decision to pull, and then we watched the building collapse.2) On why the Minnesota bridge collapsed I remember getting a call from the NAFTA highway commissioner, telling me that they were not sure if they could get the permits to expand the bridge. And I said, "You know, we've had such trouble getting property condemned along the NAFTA highway that maybe the smartest thing to do is drop it." And they made that decision to drop, and then we watched the bridge collapse.3) On how Apollo astronauts got to the moon I remember getting a call from the NASA Commissioner, telling me that they were not sure they could get to the moon by 1969. And I said, "You know, we have such low self-esteem in America that maybe the smartest thing to do is fake it." And they made that decision to fake, and then we watched the moon landing.4) On why the New Orleans levees collapsed I remember getting a call from the FEMA commander, telling me that they were not sure they could evacuate the poor people from New Orleans, and I said, "You know, we've had such terrible crimes in the Superdome, maybe the smartest thing to do is drown them." And they made that decision to drown, and then we watched the levees collapse."5) On why President Kennedy was killed I remember getting a call from the FBI director telling me that they were not sure they would be able to change Kennedy's foreign policies, and I said, "You know, you've had such terrible luck with his domestic policies, that maybe the smartest thing to do is pop him." And he made that decision to pop, and then we watched his brains fly out.6) On why Jesus was crucified I remember getting a message in a dream from God telling me that He was not sure He would be able to contain the anger towards Jesus, and I said, "You know, the world is so full of sin, that maybe the smartest thing to do is nail him." And He made that decision to nail, and then we watched Jesus get crucified. |
